Why do I need to migrate my LCCS account to ICS?
LCCS will no longer be available after December 31, 2012; and ICS has taken over the service to continue to provide world-class custom live collaboration solutions to the LCCS customers. So for uninterrupted service, it just makes sense to simply migrate your LCCS account to ICS.
When can I migrate my LCCS account to a new ICS account?
For a dedicated account, you can call us now to set up your new ICS account. For a shared account, it will be available starting in mid November 2012 as a beta program, and a full-production version will be available in early December 2012.
After migrating to ICS, do I still have the same pricing plan and payment options?
We have listened to many current LCCS customers and streamlined our ICS pricing plans and payment options. For the pricing for our dedicated plans, please call for a quote; and our shared plans are offered as conveniently packaged deals on a month-to-month basis, which means you can upgrade/downgrade/cancel at any time:

  • Starting at $25 /month, 10 Concurrent Connections, 25 GB monthly bandwidth transfer. You will be able to custom build your own ICS plan from here. Discounts scale based on the volume of the plan you commit to.

What collaboration features are available to developers?
Influxis Collaboration Service (ICS) offers the following key features:

Screen-Sharing

ICS allows for capturing and broadcasting your screen to share it with other viewers for real-time collaboration.

In-context collaboration

Easily add prebuilt components such as screen-sharing, whiteboard functionality, text chat, webcam video, and Voice over IP (VoIP) audio for easy integration with any RIA. For example, this can enable organizations to engage with product consultants and others to design products in real time to drive community participation and product sales.

Collaborative data capture

Easily collect data online by entering information in a multiuser, collaborative, forms-based application.

User management

Enable developers to interface with existing authentication systems such as LDAP or OpenID, so they can detect and change presence, status, and roles in the context of a collaborative workflow.

VoIP audio

Improve productivity by enabling multiple users in dispersed teams to speak to one another through a browser without the need to install additional software.

Webcam video broadcasts

Does Influxis help ensure the privacy of user or customer data?
Developers can build Collaboration Service applications that authenticate against their own user databases, without exposing any specific user details to the service. Any data sent via ICS has customizable privacy and persistence settings, such that a developer can restrict who receives such data and control the duration that it is retained.
I’m not sure how much usage to expect. Also, I think my usage will increase in the future. What should I do?
If you are a Cloud customer, using the Customer Admin Screen, you can upgrade your plan at anytime to cover overages or abnormal usage.
What is the minimum signup period?
The minimum signup period is 1 month for ICS Cloud Plans. And, you can enjoy great savings by signing up quarterly (15%) and annually (20%) for Cloud Plans.
How do I upgrade my account? How long will this take? Are there any penalties?
If you are a Cloud customer, you can instantly upgrade through the Customer Admin Screen. There are no penalties for upgrading. Upon upgrading, you will only be charged the prorated amount, or difference between the two plans, based on your billing date.

If you downgrade to a lower plan and you have used more bandwidth transfer during the month than the new bandwidth transfer limit in the lower plan, you may be billed for overages. We advise that you wait until you are sure of your lower usage before downgrading your plan.

How do I cancel service? Are there any cancellation fees?
If you are a Cloud customer, you can cancel instantly through the Account Manager. There are no cancellation fees. However, if you decide to cancel before the end of your billing cycle, you will not be refunded for any remaining days in your billing cycle.

Upon cancellation, your service will be suspended and your uploaded content will be permanently deleted.

What forms of payment does Influxis Collaboration Service accept?
We accept credit card payments only by Visa, Mastercard, or American Express, and we also accept wire payments. We do not accept Paypal or other internet money transfer sites.
